European Business Development Manager – Insurance Business

Location: PCS Europe, Weybridge. Surrey. UK

Job Summary

PCS Europe is a newly set up regional business of PCS Wireless LLC – a US based business with revenues in excess of $1BN. PCS resells new and refurbished mobile products to retailers, e-tailers, wholesalers, operators, insurers and distributors globally.
The European business is being set up in 2020 to closely manage and grow the regional business for PCS. This business is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to address the Insurance market in Europe

I. Job Responsibilities

Research prospective accounts in the target industry and within the target markets
Pursue leads and follow through to agreements & sales
Strategic Account management of customer base
Understand the target markets, including industry, main companies and develop strategy for PCS within this market in Europe
Work with Product Management team in the NJ/ HQ office to define go to market strategy, sales collateral and case studies
Work with regional leadership and global product team to define pricing models
Follow industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors to PCS in this market

II. Job Requirements

a) Experience and Education:

Min 7 years of experience with a proven record in business development/ sales
BA or BS degree or equivalent
Experience of travelling and working in Europe required
Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers in a clear and concise manner

b) Other Skills & Abilities:

Ability to excel in a fast moving entreprenurial environment
Ability to speak European languages an advantage
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
